We regularly go to Restaurant Pieterman. It's a great place to sit inside as well as outside, the staff is very friendly and the food is great. We always order the Volendam tapas, you have a lot of choice and the dishes are very tasty. This restaurant is definitely a must!

Eaten here for the 2nd time now and again everything was perfectly fine. Food was delicious, service friendly and attentive. What more could you ask for!

I catch myself thinking that when it comes to an evening out, with regard to eating out, I always flee the village. I have often mentioned that there is no place in the village (Volendam) where I like to eat out. I really have to come back to this, because what a wonderful evening I had at the Pieterman. Delicious food of the Volendam Tapas and I also want to give my compliments to the staff. Cordial, cosy and good. A place to come back to! I don't have to go as far as I had in mind!

It has also been beautifully refurbished with a modern look. The location is also ideal - lots of parking space and in the summer it is nice by the water.
Please note that they are closed on Tuesdays.

Kitchen was still open at 21.00, on the terrace overlooking the Marina Haven of Volendam. Friendly staff and helpful.

Cosy restaurant in a very nice location. Together with my son, we had a delicious meal. (Spare ribs were delicious). Despite the crowds, a table was created and we were served very hospitably. We had a great evening. Highly recommended.
